PETERSFIELD & DISTRICT PROBUS CLUB

This PROBUS Club was founded in 1977.
Members live in the main in Petersfield in North East Hampshire & the surrounding villages including; Buriton, Froxfield, Hawkley, Sheet, Liphook, Liss & Milland.

Membership is limited to maximum of 55; currently (mid 2005) we do not have a waiting list.

We meet monthly in the evening for dinner & a talk by a guest speaker or one of our members on the last Thursday of the month at the `Half Moon' Public House on the B2070 at Sheet.
On the second Tuesday we have a Pub Lunch at which our ladies are invited. Usually we precede this with a gentle walk for those who are able of about an hour (weather permitting)

During the year we have further visits, usually by coach. Recently these have included; Ightham Mote, Whitchurch Silk Mill, Wickham Vineyard, Basingstoke Canal Barge trip, Stourhead & Tangmere RAF Museum.

If you would like to join us at our monthly meeting, initially as a guest, please call our Honorary Secretary, Paddy Groves 01730 263308 no later than the Friday prior to the last Thursday, he will be then able to give you further information.
