The club was formed under the presidency of Pamela Whinnett with thirty members on 4th October 2007. The Mayor of Melton was the principal guest, and the speaker was Mrs. Patricia Pickering, President of The Vale of Belvoir Ladies Probus Club.

The club continues to grow and now has a membership of 36 ladies. We meet at The Sysonby Knoll Hotel, Melton Mowbray, on the first Thursday of each month.
