FILEY is a family holiday resort overlooking a beautiful bay with a five mile sandy beach. The town is sheltered from north by attractive cliffs which are known as Filey Brigg. To the south of the town are Bempton Cliffs, which are world famous for their nesting marine bird life. Immediatly to the north west, is the spectacular North Yorksire Moors which covers approximatly 360 square miles

Filey itself is situated 8 miles from Scarborough and 12 miles from Bridlington on the North Yorkshire Coast. Pleasure activities include, childrens play areas, wonderful sandy beaches, crazy golf, and fishing, round-abouts, and beautiful walks and scenery.

The Edwardian Festival is held annually on the last Saturday in June, and lasts for 9 days. the Fishing Festival is in September.

Meeting times 10-30 am, on the first and third Wednesday of each month. There is no Annual Subscription; members only pay £2 for coffee when they come. If you would like to join please ring the secretary below.
